3. What We Will Contact You About
- Booking confirmations — Immediately after successful booking
- Session reminders — 24 hours and 1 hour before your session
- Google Meet links — In booking confirmation email
- Companion verification updates — When relevant
- Refund updates — Status changes on cancellations
- Important platform updates — Policy or feature changes
4. What We Will NOT Do
- ✗ We will never ask for your password via email or phone
- ✗ We will never request payment information outside our platform
- ✗ We will never share your contact details with third parties
- ✗ We will never send promotional/marketing SMS without consent
- ✗ We will never call from unverified numbers
5. Beware of Impersonators
⚠️ Security Warning
Only trust emails from @vedacompanionship.in. If you receive suspicious messages claiming to be from us, do not click any links. Forward them to vedacompanionship@gmail.com for verification.
6. Communication Preferences
You can manage your notification preferences in your Dashboard → Profile → Preferences. You can opt-out of non-essential notifications, but transactional emails (booking confirmations, payment receipts, session reminders) cannot be disabled for safety and operational reasons.
7. Companion-User Communication
All communication between users and companions happens exclusively on the platform:
- During the Google Meet session for online services
- In-person during scheduled elder care visits
- No personal contact details exchanged outside platform
- Any off-platform contact attempts must be reported
